Miami, June 13, 2024 – Over 100 attendees, including 30 top Intcomex clients, came together at this year’s Strategic Business Summit (SBS). The event created a valuable space for business discussions and networking, strengthening client relationships and making a noticeable impact on the meetings that took place.
Eli Siboni, Commercial Director at Intcomex, highlighted the importance of face-to-face interactions: “Our attendees had high expectations, and they made the most of the chance to engage directly, especially when it comes to closing deals. We’re optimistic about the positive outlook for the second half of 2024 in the tech sector.”
The event was powered by 26 major tech brands, including Microsoft, Intel, HP, Epson, Dell, APC, and Western Digital, who were represented by their executives on site.
Intcomex Miami’s top clients from Central America, the Spanish Caribbean, and South America spent three productive days engaged in business opportunities, as Intcomex—the leading tech distributor in Latin America and the Caribbean—continued its focus on staying close to strategic partners. This approach allowed the company to identify new business opportunities and gather essential feedback.
Now in its ninth year, the SBS is known for creating high-value one-on-one meetings between clients and top manufacturers in the industry. This year’s edition, held from June 4 to 7, also featured exclusive promotions and offers for attendees.
Intel’s presentation stood out with insights into their investments in computing technology, emphasizing the role of PCs and sharing key data and trends. HP also gave a detailed look at how their product portfolio has evolved over the years.
“SBS 2024 in Austin was incredible. Every year, just when I think it can’t get better, they raise the bar. I loved how much time we had to connect with brands and other clients,” said Kim Oszeden from Intelaf in Guatemala, who enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere and innovative dining scene in Austin, Texas.
The event was the “perfect mix of business, networking, and fun,” noted Sandra Barahona, Marketing Director at Intcomex. “Hearing from clients that the event was a commercial success proves we hit the mark.”
